This morning, while I was praying, I saw a map that had been spread out across a large table. Then another map was provided, drawn with new borderlines and distinctions. The new map was then placed over the old map. I asked the Lord what the new map signified. I heard Him say, Change!
Stand for truth
Be bold for God
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God for salvation. Amen
This short word hit home for me, especially because of an interesting encounter I had with a person at church on Sunday. I introduced myself, and during our brief conversation she shared that she had attended the church until the previous pastor retired. She stated very passionately, “I don’t like change!” During our short conversation, she repeated the statement at least two more times, and it got me to thinking about “change” and how I felt about “change.”
I’m praying into this word and asking God how it applies on a personal as well as a global level. God is calling us to align with His map and it reminds me of Amos 3:7. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He reveals His secret unto His servants the prophets.
