The borders of nations are beginning to shift. In the shifting the fulfillment of the word of the Lord will be revealed. It will be like looking at a globe sitting atop a desk and then seeing something new rising into our understanding and overcoming the past borders. Only through the eyes of the Spirit will we be able to see what is happening.
Those in power do not see this work of God. They are fighting using old boundaries, conflicts, and the past affiliations those boundaries have created. While it will be easy to align our worldview with the existing order created by our current borders, alliances, and developing conflicts, it is in this new order of emerging nations that our prayers need to be sent.
The Lord is ordering His Church to see something new. It will be too easy to miss what is happening if we only look at what we see happening in the nations and not beyond. As the Lord told Moses, “For all the earth belongs to me” (Exodus 19:5). The Lord can do whatever He wants to align and realign His creation to reflect His will.
What is happening now by the hand of God will rewrite the understanding of our history. Before you jump into what you see taking place, wait. Wait on the word of the Lord. In that waiting, we will begin to see what is emerging that will overcome our previous understanding of the current alignment of nations and how we should respond in the future.
May the Lord of the Nations be vindicated “[Psa 9:4-8 NLT] 4 For you have judged in my favor; from your throne you have judged with fairness. 5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have erased their names forever. 6 The enemy is finished, in endless ruins; the cities you uprooted are now forgotten. 7 But the LORD reigns forever, executing judgment from his throne. 8 He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness.”
