The greatest yet-to-be-discovered mysteries of science and archaeology are waiting to be revealed. Mysteries appearing in the skies that were hidden for eons of time will be revealed. No matter what is made known and how astounding it may appear, they are all under the power and authority of Jesus Christ. He remains supreme over all things in this world and the world to come, even when the most unimagined discoveries are rocking the foundation of human understanding.

Paul defined the power and authority of Jesus, “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him” (Colossians 1:15-16).

Some will be challenged in their faith when these things are revealed at the expense of remaining true to the Lord. No matter how astounding these revelations may appear or how strong their appeal may be, they are still only part of this created world, not a replacement for Jesus Christ and the abandonment of His truth.

As these discoveries come to light, we should not waver in our faith no matter how much bewilderment and confusion these revelations bring. When these signs appear, hold steady to the Lord. He will faithfully reveal what we need to know at the right time. As we gain a greater understanding of what is happening, the Lord will take our faith to a higher place as the world is shaken to the core of its limited understanding of spiritual realities.
