Reading through the account of Cain and Abel's offering to the Lord reveals the terrible and destructive power of an offense that is allowed to fester. "When they grew up, Abel became a shepherd, while Cain cultivated the ground. When it was time for the harvest, Cain...
In the Law Enforcement community, there is something called EOW - End of Watch. It's when a cop signs off for the last time over their radio. It's also used to describe an officer who has died in the line of duty. Watching is the primary job of a police officer....
Over many years, I've told people to pursue Jesus if they want to know the truth about life. Reading yet another book or pursuing an advanced degree cannot produce the truth. Truth is only found in Jesus. He provides everything we need because He is the way, the...
Jan and I have been watching a Netflix documentary titled Ancient Apocalypse. The documentary offers evidence about ancient civilizations that existed before the assumed timeline of human history that has been accepted and taught within the field of archaeology. The...
A memory from my boyhood came to mind last week. I was 8 years old and for some reason, I woke up shortly after midnight. I got out of bed and walked down the hall through the darkness into the kitchen to discover, to my surprise, that my father was standing there in...
What would your response be if the first major headlines for the year 2023 read as follows- “Gavin Newsom accepts the role of Vice President of the United States after the unexpected resignation of Kamala Harris.” Later in that same year, the headlines changed to...

Something unusual is taking place in northern China in the region of Mongolia. Hundreds of sheep have been trotting in circles for the last 14 days. Speculation is that the behavior is caused by a bacterial disease called Listeriosis, also known as “circling disease.”...
We will either be captured by the love of God and led deeper into our understanding of Him, or we will be led away by the foolishness of human wisdom and reasoning. A living relationship with Jesus Christ captures our hearts and leads us to a safe place in these days...
What I am about to write stirs up the anger of Satan and his minions. His pride is insulted when the supremacy of Christ is declared. Even more, he hates it when Scripture informs our worldview demoting him to a lesser position far below the majesty and supremacy of...
The prophetic gift can disturb people. That should never be the goal, but it is the reality of the gift. Those who speak in God’s name and offer prophetic insight and direction are not called to be parrots. Parrots are taught to mimic words. They are amusing to...
