All of us can pluck verses out of the surrounding context and use those verses to support our ideas. It’s in the context where a deeper understanding is revealed. Some of that revelation may be difficult for some of us to understand. It’s not just an Old Testament...
A pastor friend of mine, Ryan Rhoden, was asked to mediate between some believers in his church who were experiencing disagreement on a particular issue. . He said, "I will bring my bad theology, and you bring yours, and let’s sit down and talk.” The pastor was...
As the Lord continues to reset His Church amid all the exposures and the back-and-forth of denials, He is doing something new in the Church, not just with those who have abandoned what true prophecy is supposed to be, but with all members of the Church, no matter...
While we desire to have and exercise the freedom of speech, our greatest desire should be to hear a word from the Lord. Today, many are speaking freely but only a few are speaking from God’s heart. In the coming days, while people are speaking freely, most of what we...
There are times when trying to help God balance a move of His Spirit in another person's life, can have a negative effect. If we assume the role of “God’s Balancer” it will move us to do things that can cause death, not life. On one occasion, when the Ark was being...
An attempt to initiate a radical social reset is unfolding. The Lord is beginning to reposition His people to stand for truth and challenge what is taking place. The Lord is assembling proven spiritual warriors who are skilled in both prayer and Spirit-led action....
The kingdom of darkness wants our failures to become trophies in the temple of darkness. These temples are not physical temples, but mindsets of darkness where our failures support the accusations of hell. The life of Saul was a sad life. In his final battle...
Last week, I took my truck to a local tire dealer to have my tires rotated. I have done the tire rotation faithfully every 5,000 miles. My truck is twenty years old, so I’ve done these rotations faithfully for all of the 119,000 miles of the truck’s life. In this...

This year, the Lord will reveal the meaning of the following verses in an obvious way, “No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord. The horses are prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord” (Proverbs 21: 30-31)....
My Father’s Day weekend began with me visiting a car show in Medford, Oregon. Six hundred cars of all makes and models were on display. When I go to car shows, I always look for a 57 Chevy, my first car. I saw a few 57’s at the show and they were all impeccably...
The Lord is getting ready to “knee” us in the gut of our understanding so He can cinch up the saddle of our comprehension of reality. He will do this so our interpretation is secure as we enter an unpredictable future. Here is a quick video about what I am feeling:...
Whether one supports a leader who stumbles on stairs and has difficulty speaking or someone who makes brash public comments and has bright-colored hair, we need to look deeper than the surface manifestations of a person. That deeper look will require the guidance of...
