At certain junctures of history, the gates of hell open a little wider allowing demonic powers to invade our world bringing with them unusual demonstrations of darkness. We are living in one of those times.

In the last few months, the wide-open gates of darkness have welcomed the hordes of hell manifesting unusual levels of absurdity, anger, and wrath against truth and spiritual sensibility. What foments the situation even further is the legal and moral affirmation of these demonic powers giving them legitimacy in the eyes of the undiscerning.

Those in positions of influence within churches, denominations, and other faith communities will be held accountable for not helping those in their care know how to wisely, courageously, and compassionately navigate through seasons of discontent. A pastor recently asked one of his members why they were talking so much about such issues. The person responded, “Because you are not.” Not all leadership comes from the top.
