Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are being replaced by the common sense of Competence, Skill, and Merit. The latter is what keeps us safe. The former puts us in a place of jeopardy. This is true not only for the culture and its institutions, but it’s also true for those who lead the Church. Character and competence are what mark true leadership.
