Integrity in all its forms, whether it is spiritual, sexual, or financial integrity creates a protective layer. It keeps us from selling our souls to the highest bidder or being blackmailed into silence when we should speak the truth in love. 

The stage where our integrity is played out most visibly is in politics, in moments of compromise regarding historical truths within the Church, and in our most intimate relationships. We do not want anything to attach to our lives that was gained through the compromise of the truth in any form no matter how small.

Guard your integrity at all costs. It will surround your life with the kind of protection God offers to those who walk on its path. Any loss that occurs because we chose integrity over compromise is always a gain, never a loss.
