There are times when we are led to speak the truth to people. When the truth is spoken, some will accept it, but others will respond by saying something similar to, “How dare you interrupt my delusions!” 

When this happens, it is wise to exhibit patience by trusting the Lord to change another person’s heart. Only the Lord can bring that change and take a person to a place where a deeper revelation awaits. The Lord sets the time and place for that revelation, not us.

Though tempting to join in an emotional back-and-forth with those living in a state of delusion, do your best to avoid being drawn into these fruitless conversations. They are not a place where good and lasting fruit is harvested. Delusions that people believe to be true can only be remedied by the Lord. Wait for His timing. It’s always perfect.
