Jan just completed Volume 5 of her 5-book series of Blessings from the Prophet Isaiah. This completed work has been an 8-year journey for Jan. She studied Isaiah’s prophecies in depth and then created from those prophecies her five books of blessings.
I call this 5-volume set of blessings, “Jan’s Opus.” It’s truly a work of a lifetime, beginning 55 years ago at what was then known as Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon.
One of Jan’s professors, Dr. Needham, assigned the book of Isaiah to be read by the end of the semester. Jan held off reading Isaiah until the last night of the semester. She stayed up late, reading Isaiah to fulfill her class assignment. After reading Isaiah in its entirety, Jan fell in love with Isaiah. It has become her “go-to” book for the last 5 decades.
A blessing from God will endure across time until His promises are fulfilled, something all believers need to understand when our world seems, at times, to be out of balance and off track. A blessing encourages God’s people in challenging seasons and helps us hold onto His promises until they are fulfilled.
All of Jan’s books can be accessed via Amazon.
Many congratulations on such a great achievement, Jan. May your book be a blessing to many people.
Garris, Just wanted to say you and Jan are such a blessing to this world! Thank you for all you both do for our culture!!
I’m a Isaiah guy myself (5 years ago the Lord kept me there for a long while) and I have her 4 volumes and will soon have her 5th! They have been such a blessing to me.
The Lord speaks through everything – I can’t unsee these things: Its her 5th book in a 5 set volume (55), she started 55 years ago (55), 5 decades. 5 = GRACE and there’s double grace all over this and on today when you released this post (11/25/25 – 11×5=55 and 5×5=25) there is GRACE abound!!
