I love the God of pre-time. I love the God of both the Old and New Testament and the intertestamental period. I love the God who will reign after time disappears and we are ushered into eternity. 

To not love this God in all His manifestations is the road to deception,  especially when it is hard to understand some of His ways. We need to guard our hearts as we seek to understand this Almighty God who in His purest essence is beyond our ability to comprehend with our natural mind.

God said, “I am the Lord, and I do not change” (Malachi 3:6). He is the same God who said that He remains, “the same yesterday and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).  

Be careful while constructing or deconstructing your faith that you do not become someone who defines God. That definition is the job of Scripture, not human opinion. It is something only God can do. Any representation of the Lord limited by the narrow boundaries of our ability to understand Him will lead us astray into places of despair and eventual disillusionment.
