Today, as Jan and I walked through our small town we prayed for our nation. As we prayed, I saw the image of a large eye opening. The eye covered the entire landscape of the United States. It represented our ability to see with clarity what is unfolding.

While we talk of an October surprise coming in politics, this will be different and unexpected. It will be the Lord opening the collective eye of our nation to see God’s truth and respond accordingly.

Do not lose heart about what you read or hear that contradicts the Lord. God is at work. He is opening the eyes of those in our nation who have been spiritually blind. The clarity and insight provided by that opened eye will challenge and defeat the work of the enemy and lead us forward into a new future.
