This year, I wanted to give Jan a unique Christmas gift – a gift of a song that expressed my love and appreciation for her.
I wrote out the words for the song and had a professional team at Prayer Song put it to music. As I watched Jan listen to the song the first time, I could see she was touched by the lyrics. What I didn’t realize is that she didn’t know the song was about her, even though in the song, her name was mentioned.
When the song was finished playing, she said, “That was beautiful.” I asked her if she knew the song was about my love for her. It was then that the tears began to flow and we listened to the song once again.
After listening to the song a second time, we both sensed the Lord was telling us that the song was a prophetic message to all who listen to it. They would hear a prophetic word about what God wants to do in all our relationships as we walk along the course of our successes and failures when we are trying our best to love another person with God’s love.
