The unrighteous worldview nations use to promote their agenda and keep them afloat is like a ship passing through iceberg-strewn waters where fatal Titanic-like collisions are inevitable and ignored. These collisions will happen because the helm of nations is being steered by foolish captains who use the delusional compass heading of lies and deception instead of truth and righteousness to chart their course.

This morning, the words of David provided me with peace and wise counsel as we pass through the dangerous waters of the unfolding future, “In peace, I will lay down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe” (Psalm 4:8). 

As our world moves along on its current collision course with reality, our ability to rest and be at peace will become our lifeboat in troubled waters. That lifeboat will also become our testimony and a vessel of rescue the Lord will use to save those drowning in fear and calling out for help.
