Not all prophetic words arrive and join in agreement with the consensus of the majority opinion. There are times when God will speak a word that appears so out of tune with the status quo that the word will be labeled prematurely as “not of God.” Prophetic words that are truly from the Lord do not easily yield to the chains of restriction nor are they a guarantee that the prophet’s credibility among their peers will remain intact, especially when a word is delivered, and a posture of faith is maintained until its fulfillment.
