So much seems to be coming apart at the seams in our world. Truth is being rejected along with common sense. Those in positions of authority are imposing evil on us and demanding our compliance as if it were the right thing to do. It would be easy to lose hope if we did not know the God of Heaven and His promise to exercise His mighty intervening power in desperate times. 

The record of Scripture reveals that God has always had a plan of action in place to accomplish what seems impossible for us to accomplish. The Lord made a promise thousands of years ago that still applies today, “I will break the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly” (Psalm 75:10). 

None of what we see happening in our world that is contrary to the will of God is the final word. Final words belong to God alone. The Lord is asking us to trust Him at a depth many have not yet explored. In that deep place of trust, a supernatural rest occurs that will calm our worst fears and give us hope for the future.
