Those who are currently speaking the truth of God’s word in our culture seem out of step with the spirit of the age. They appear like naked people, oddities reminiscent of an antiquated belief system. They are mocked and labeled as uniformed, intolerant, and unloving – a laughingstock. That will soon change when a time of fulfillment comes.

The fabric of evil is being woven together to create garments of deception that are demanded, even legislated to wear. The highest office in our land has been corrupted becoming the primary dispenser of these garments. To be naked clothed only in truth will become a crime against the regime.

A similar time happened in the history of Israel. Typically, God had called the prophet Isaiah to deliver prophecy with words. On this occasion the Lord wanted His prophetic word to be visual. In the year 711 BC, “The Lord told Isaiah, son of Amoz, ‘Take off the burlap you have been wearing, and remove your sandals.’ Isaiah did as he was told and walked around naked and barefoot” (Isaiah 20: 2). Isaiah did this for three years as a sign that the oppressors of Israel they would eventually be led into captivity shamed and naked. Those who depended on Egypt, including Israel, could no longer look to Egypt for their deliverance. They were created to depend only on God and His truth. Egypt would fall in 701 BC just as Isaiah prophesied.

The more our nation, and in some cases the Church in America, embraces doctrines of demons, the starker the contrast will be between those clothed only by the truth and those who are fully clothed in garments of deception. 

If you feel naked and exposed do not despair. Your life and witness are being used by God as a loving call of repentance for people to shed the garments of evil and embrace the truth.
