THE UNEXPECTED APPEARANCE OF HOPE

by | Jan 15, 2023 | Prophetic | 8 comments

Yesterday, out in our dog kennel, a blossom appeared on a lilac shrub. The lilac and all the other plants and trees on our property have bare limbs. Spring is still weeks away. In our 20 years living here, we have never seen this happen before to have the leaves of our lilac suddenly appear overnight in full bloom.

Each day, as I study the Scriptures and try to interpret the events transpiring in our world to bring an understanding of what is happening and to offer direction for those who read what I write, it’s too easy to forget that God can bring a sudden and unexpected turn of events that will dramatically change the direction of our lives and the course of human history. In the middle of what is being interpreted by many as an eventual and unstoppable slide into global despair, loss, and hopelessness, the Lord is able to bloom the appearance of hope when hope no longer seems possible. Like it is with a lilac, when His presence fully blossoms, it will offer a fragrance of resurrection life that will displace the stench of our fear and hopelessness.

Something is beginning to bloom in our world that will surprise us with the appearance of God’s goodness and protection. As you look at the bare branches in your life, our nation, and the world, each bare branch is a place where an unexpected fulfillment of God’s promises is getting ready to bloom. Never lose hope no matter what you see or hear. A blossoming event is about to take place and when it happens our hearts will fill with joy and expectation knowing that springtime in the Spirit has arrived.

Thank you for posting this. He has made it wonderfully vivid to me. And a sign of great hope for walking into this part of the future HE has prepared for me/us.

I have a poster (picture) that’s on a wall at the church building Father placed me in….It is of grama’s lilac bush growing outside the door used by the remnant. Week after week I’d park and notice brown leaves in a blob and kept being in a hurry so I didn’t deal with them. Then one cold day in December 2005, after a several tomato-killing frosts, when I pulled up, those brown leaves had sprouted into blossoms. (Photo on my fb page [ https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=5775179115853058&set=a.933206666717018 ] HE gave me Daniel 2:21 and Deut 32:39 and repeated His instructions to teach this remnant to “Hear ME and obey.”

Perhaps lilacs (and honeysuckle) most resemble His fragrance sometimes.

      Thats so cool Saralou!!!!!!

Verse 13 in the Message Translation has “lilacs” in it. But I like the Passion Translations wording because it relays the emotional more fluidly…

      Song of Solomon 2:10-15 TPT

10 The one I love calls to me:

Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling.
      Come away with me!

I have come as you have asked
to draw you to my heart and lead you out.
For now is the time, my beautiful one.

      11 The season has changed,
the bondage of your barren winter has ended,
and the season of hiding is over and gone.

The rains have soaked the earth

12 and left it bright with blossoming flowers.

The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived.

I hear the cooing of doves in our land,
filling the air with songs to awaken you
      and guide you forth.

13 Can you not discern this new day of destiny
      breaking forth around you?

The early signs of my purposes and plans
      are bursting forth.

The budding vines of new life
      are now blooming everywhere.

The fragrance of their flowers whispers,

“There is change in the air.”
Arise, my love, my beautiful companion,
and run with me to the higher place.

14 You must catch the troubling foxes,
those sly little foxes that hinder our relationship.

For they raid our budding vineyard of love
to ruin what I’ve planted within you.

Will you catch them and remove them for me?

      We will do it together.

It was I who took you and hid you up high
in the secret stairway of the sky.

Let me see your radiant face and hear your sweet voice.

How beautiful your eyes of worship
and lovely your voice in prayer.

Supernatural Blessings and a Peace which surpasses all understanding will rest on the shoulders of His Children in these Last Days.

Accept Jesus as your personal Saviour. When He is in you, then The Father is in you
and how joyous it will be in the heavenly realms when “the lost sheep” finds their way back Home!

    Blessings and Peace to all!
