Yesterday, while walking through a city park, I saw a newborn baby deer. I’ve never seen such a small fawn. It was the size of a rabbit. It was so vulnerable. God’s creation has a built-in desire to protect what is innocent. Humans not so much.
Today we have drag queens dressed in garish seductive costumes mocking their God-given gender doing story time with innocent children while the delusional parents who brought their children to such displays applaud what is happening. Chants of “We are coming for your children!” ring out during protests by people trapped in sexual perversion. One of our political parties champions these perversions all in the name of inclusiveness inviting us to submit our children to these displays of evil. How can a believer vote for a political party that supports this sort of thing as part of their political agenda? It makes no spiritual sense.
There is nothing more innocent and vulnerable than a fawn, a newborn infant, or a baby still in the womb created to receive a mother’s loving touch, not the cold instruments of an abortion procedure based on convenience and a lifestyle choice. This is also true of innocent children out for a summer picnic with their families who are snatched away and trafficked for sexual pleasure.
The inmates are running the political insane asylum of our government asking us to go along with their insanity and not challenge their evil. Jesus minced no words when it comes to protecting what is innocent and vulnerable.
“Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting” (Matthew 18:5-7).
The sorrow of God’s judgment is coming regarding this kind of sin. None of us will be spared that sorrow if we choose to remain silent when sin and spiritual deprivation are assaulting our children or when we flippantly cast a vote for politicians who support obvious evil.
AMEN!
