When the Lord was restoring Israel, He said, “I am planting seeds of peace and prosperity among you” (Zechariah 8:12 NLT). He went on to say, “Now I will rescue you and make you both a symbol and a source of blessing” (vs. 13).  While those words were spoken long ago, the same is offered for us in the completed work of Christ.

For those of us who follow Jesus, we carry that same peace and prosperity. He has made us a symbol and source of the Lord’s blessing to the nations around us. When we are facing a life-challenge, we bring those same elements into each situation we encounter no matter how impossible the situation appears.

Today, look through the lens of Christ’s provision of peace and prosperity, and the symbol of His blessings.That understanding will radically change how we see our life and situations we are facing.
