Over the last few months, I have heard the Lord say repeatedly that a time is coming when conventional wisdom will no longer be a reliable advisor. I have sensed we are moving toward a moment where a rapid and startling reset of our current reality will take place. When sudden change happens conventional wisdom will no longer supply us with answers we will need to navigate through a new and unfamiliar reality.
The kind of wisdom we will need is wisdom available to all believers under one condition. Paul wrote, “Yet when I am among mature believers, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world or to the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten” (I Corinthians 2:6).
When conventional wisdom breaks down in a time of financial crisis, war, or social unrest, the Spirit will provide us with God’s wisdom if we have allowed the Lord to mature our faith under His Lordship. Our submission to His Lordship is our expression of love for Him. A mature expression of wisdom empowered by love will produce calm in our hearts and prepare us to make wise and spiritually mature decisions when conventional wisdom has failed.
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (I Corinthians 2:10).
What you say is true Garris. Only the angels in heaven who live in the realm of The Eternal One do enjoy what The Father has provided for them at the deepest level of experience and understanding that only our eternal life force, as an offspring of Our Father, can experience and understand. It is not for the fallen human to understand or experience.
With every breath we take, may we grow ever closer to The Father through the love and sacrifice of Jesus.
