Daniel and Joseph allowed the Lord to use their voices to influence the political leaders of their day. I am also glad to see the same thing taking place in our day when it is done under the leading of God’s Spirit and with a heart of humility. The Gospel is strong enough to not only overcome the failings of human forms of government, but to actually steer it from failure toward healthy and wholesome outcomes that would bless and benefit all people, believers, and non-believers alike.
