Our faith is a connection with the hope of God found only in Christ. That connection remains secure over time, even when our disappointments and failures make us think it has been severed. This is especially true for the prodigal sons and daughters in our lives...
In the week leading up to the New Year, voices within the Church are prophesying what will happen in 2026. Some of these words are from God. Others are declaring what they hoped would happen and call it prophecy. Paul was speaking to Jews who needed to be convinced...
As a result, Peter was now free to enter the home of Cornelius, a Roman officer, and be used by the Lord to lead Cornelius and his family to the Lord. The vision of the blanket was given to Peter as permission to step over Jewish customs of not entering the home of a...
Our disobedience to God and His word can take us into dark places. None of those dark places are so dark and hopeless that they can overcome God’s great love for us. His love will always prevail. The Lord asked the prophet Hosea to marry a prostitute named Gomer. The...

Jan and I have been part of the development of an international ministry with tremendous global impact. The ministry has been stewarded with utmost integrity and professionalism. They are right at the place of release, but there have been repeated delays in the final...
In a perfect world, a level playing field is where all parties have a chance for success without bias. While that can appear to be an admirable pursuit, when personal merit and integrity are removed and opportunities to succeed are forced upon us, the playing field is...
We've all had hidden sins in our lives at one time or another. For those who lead God’s people, unresolved sin has a greater consequence. It causes those who follow their lead to put their trust in a leader until a time when the leader’s sin is uncovered. This...
At this point in our history one of the greatest balancing acts of our spiritual integrity is being aware of what is happening in our world, yet not losing our hope. Hope in God can only be defined and tested in what appears to be a hopeless situation. That tension is...
