In some ways, I am more concerned with people who say “Don’t worry about it” or “You are overacting” than I am about who or what is causing the concern. In human history we have demonstrated an astounding ability to dismiss an emerging negative spiritual reality until it’s too late and that reality is finally able to wrap its tentacles around us and take us down, drowning us in the depths of our naïve assumptions. Sometimes we will be asked to demonstrate our faith by issuing unpopular discernments regarding the status quo that will seem out of step with the mainstream consensus of reality.
