Experiencing a Fresh Pentecost

Pentecost was a launching point – not a destination. Once launched Pentecost became a reoccurring work of the Spirit continuously released over the course of the last 2,000 years. In each and every new season of the Church there will be a Pentecost moment. It is messy and will always make fear-based churched people and maintenance-minded theologians nervous.

If you want to know the way forward in an uncertain season, find out where the Holy Spirit is being poured out and go there and take it in. Step over denominational boundaries, relational demands for alignment and the dishonoring social media character assault on those God is using to lead these outpourings. Ignore warnings based on fear and not fact. Fearful people were present on the Day of Pentecost and implied the events taking place that day were not of God. They labeled the participants as drunks. Step over these hindrances of fear in an act of courageous faith and experience a fresh encounter with God’s Spirit.

I said this many years ago and it remains true today – God’s ability to lead you is greater than Satan’s ability to deceive you. This is your place of confidence. That heart attitude will give you the freedom and mobility required to taste and see the new thing God is doing on the Earth.
