In times of cultural upheaval, people get played by the offering of dreadful images and emotional comments that have no basis in fact. These falsehoods are crafted to attach to our bias. A bias wrapped in deception is a powerful motivator. It is so powerful it can move individuals and entire social groups toward a preferred outcome.
Deception does not survive under the patient scrutiny of truth. We need to wait for the truth to arrive before we respond and prematurely consider something to be true at first glance.
Playing to the naivety of the masses is a social engineering tactic that has people repeat falsehoods without the presence of discerning inquiry, therefore, creating further chaos. Be careful and be aware. Not all is what it appears to be.
