HEAVEN’S TOW JOB

There are times when the Spirit will create an interest in us that will lead us to a place of revelation. At first, some of those interests don’t appear very spiritual and can be prematurely rejected before the Lord has a chance to speak to us.

For the last few months, when I had time to go on YouTube to scroll through various videos, I landed on a site called Towtrucker. The operator of the truck works out of Atlanta, Georgia. He is a straight-up, honest blue-collar man who tells it like it is. His videos show the encounters he has with people who are being towed. It’s real and upfront content, not a fake choreographed reality show.

This week, I asked the Lord why I was interested in these videos. He said, “I am beginning to tow away things in your world that have wrongly parked their influence in people’s lives and the surrounding culture.”

When I watch Towtrucker, he works under the instruction of property managers who tell him what vehicles to tow to keep an apartment complex clear of unregistered vehicles, work trailers, and abandoned junkers that degrade property value and rob residents of a place to park. Towtrucker’s greatest joy is towing what he calls “handicap parking cheats” who rob those in physical need of a place to park and access their apartment. It is amazing how angry some people become who are obviously in the wrong and take out their immaturity on Towtrucker.

Towtrucker is a metaphor of encouragement for many of you who are wondering if anything will ever be done to clear the way for truth and justice to park in our lives and our nation. God’s towing operation is coming. When He arrives we will see Him towing away the presence of deceptions that think they have a right to park wherever they want to degrade the quality of life for families and nations.

Heaven’s tow order has been issued. We are beginning to hear the clanging of Heaven’s tow chains as the Lord hooks His truth to overconfident parked deceptions and tows them away allowing the space they once occupied to be used for Godly purposes.

Thank you for this. My late husband worked as a tow truck driver in Honolulu clearing abandoned vehicles as well as parking violations. The stories he told were at times hilarious, at other times, confrontational but he was up to the task. I look forward to God’s towing away the deceptions that have been parked and blocking access to truth and light.
