In some circles, it has become socially chic to downplay or even demean Mother’s Day. Don’t buy into it. Honoring mothers is a higher road to take even if our personal journey has been painful. Moms, we love you and we are so grateful for the sacrifices you made to bring us into this world and love us through all the foolish moments we experienced, and you had to endure. We are your kids.
