An intervention from God is in-coming. It will appear to come out of left field – from a place considered an impossibility. The wise will wait and not call the game until God makes His play. 

The phrase “out of left field” describes something that is unexpected, odd, or strange. It carries that definition because what is about to take place at home plate was assumed to be immune and out of range from such an impossible throw. It was assumed the runner on the opposing team would cross home plate without interruption and score. Scripture tells us that is a faulty assumption to make because when faith is present a throw by God of an intervening truth will cross the entire field of spiritual play and arrive in the center of the catcher’s mitt to the surprise of those watching the game.

As the affairs of nations seem to be headed into a darkening future, God has other plans. Already airborne is the fulfillment of prophecies and prayers that will alter that assumed future. We should never allow assumptions contrary to the heart of God to form our worldview no matter if it seems like the game is at the bottom of the 9th and a loss looks inevitable.

Inbound is a throw of truth from God’s throne that will change the outcome of the game of nations. It will interrupt what many have considered, even prophesied, as a foregone conclusion. Wait in hope for what is coming. When God’s truth finally arrives out of left field and hits the opened mitt of those who faithfully stood at home plate in hope, it will make a resounding pop that will signal the end of hell’s play.  Wait for it. It’s coming.
