Putting Frustration In Its Place

I have hovered over my keyboard this morning, trying to write something. What I discovered in the waiting was a personal frustration at the state of our culture. Whenever frustration tries to press the keys on my laptop, I have learned to stop and wait. The resulting content of frustration has never revealed the heart of God, only my unresolved emotions. Revelation, not frustration, is the only safe motivator for our words. Frustration tells us that our understanding of a particular subject is still in process. It also reveals emotions, not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Until frustration takes a back seat to revelation, it is always best to remain quiet, waiting for the Lord to speak.
