When we use the same derisive terms employed by the culture to single out and confront each other, we cast our lot with the wrong spirit. When we do this, we become puppet-like spokesmen for the media, political alliances, and compromised leaders. Labels like Christian Nationalist, election denier, or conspiracy theorist are too easily tossed about as well as leftist, Communist and heretic. If we want to change the way people think through a process of biblical and Spirit-led change, we must appeal to those we feel are in error with the redemptive language of Scripture, not with dismissive labels offered to us by a divided world.
