If history were a machine it would have two buttons – reset and repeat. We are living in a moment of history where we have a choice to either repeat the failures of our past or reset our course to engage a new future. 

There is a false reset disguised as innovative and inclusive. That reset is a masking presence for a well-crafted deception leading to eventual bondage. God’s reset always brings us back to His original intent that all people have been created to live as free moral agents exercising their will without coercion or control. This is the essence of true freedom.

The negative aspects of history do not have to be repeated if we realize a righteous reset button is also available. Offering that reset option to people will be seen as a challenge to religious and political systems currently in control and under the influence of their respective spirits. Any resistance to that negative reset will be met with an increasingly hostile opposition.

Exercise wisdom in the coming days which reset button you choose to press. One reset will lead to freedom and the other will lead to bondage repeating the unredeemed failures of the past.
