Last night, I had a dream. I was walking through my old neighborhood in Los Gatos, California. It was the place where all my childhood remembrances were created. The homes were now desolate and in disrepair. No one was living there. It was like something had moved through our old homes and vacated the properties.
After seeing, and even feeling the desolation and disrepair, the Lord is asking us to begin to pray. Some in our government and educational facilities align, not with the innocent ones suffering in Gaza, but with those who carried out the initial attacks that led us to the war happening now in the Middle East.
I am sensing the need to pray to secure the borders of our homes and communities. These prayers will interrupt the works of hell in our nation. Today, I will not be in the mountains. I will be walking through my home and then within the walls of our community praying prayers of disruption against the plans of the enemy. I will release prayers to secure the borders of all that matters to God and to me.
We are on the cusp of another 9/11. We need a prayer-hardened exterior. May all that is planned and ready to execute, like it was on the first day of the missile attacks in Israel, stumble and fall to the ground. This battle is first won in prayer. The prayers we release will call on the God of Heaven to step in to perform the works that can only done by His hands.

I know you are primarily advising prayer for our spiritual borders. But there is a great interview with a Southern Border expert on the Andrew Klavan Show, that I found profoundly informative. There is so much we can do and have done in the past to protect our borders. As I read this in the morning early I saw in my minds eye myself walking out of my door into my neighborhood and as I did there was warfare going on all around me. The battle was on but I was basically unaware. And I am assuming it was because I was ‘armed up’. I was unafraid because I walked in the power and authority of who I was (am) in Christ. The weapons that the enemy was trying to use were being diffused and fought off with the Angel Armies and I was at peace. But it wasn’t because I wasn’t doing anything. It was a picture of what the Lord does for me/us moment by moment, 24/7 because he is a good Father; He is FOR me and so always fighting FOR me. Good word, Garris. Good reminder.
