The thrust of the betrayers blade has sunk deep
into your back. The attack came from someone you trusted. This is what makes
the wound so painful.

You need to know this betrayal came from a
place of brokenness in your betrayer. It wasn’t personal. They do not know this
place of deep personal brokenness even exists. 

The blade of betrayal cannot reach your heart
if you choose to forgive your attacker. Forgiveness won’t make the pain go away
and won’t erase its memory, but it will cause the blade to miss your
heart.   This will not easy, but must be
done if you are going to survive this attack.
