We are entering a very fragile moment in world history. While we have been assured that all is well the fragile factor of all things apart from God will be exposed, falter, and fail. The governments, institutions, and individuals aligned with God’s heart for humanity will prosper amid the rumble of the coming collapse.
These events will expose our misguided hope in the permanence of our financial markets, the political promises we have allowed to replace hope in God, and any errant theology not rooted in historic Christianity.
We need to be very careful in the coming days when everything begins to shake – a shaking that will destabilize all things apart from a secure hope only found in the person of Jesus Christ. All things apart from Him will be revealed as fragile and untrustworthy. The weakened scaffolding used to keep the decaying promises of these false hopes from collapsing is beginning to tremble. Human strength is an illusion.
As the collapse unfolds, it will bring along with it a test of our integrity. The exposure resulting from the collapse will reveal what is in our hearts that is not in line with God’s heart and will. The days ahead will be dark from a human perspective, but only for a season to accomplish His purpose. The greed, lust, and the worship of false gods will be seen lying in the rubble of this failure. A Great Awakening will rise from the rubble. The rubble of the collapse will become our pulpit calling individuals and nations to repentance inviting them to place their hope in God alone.
In each epoch of time, the Lord is in the process of making “all things new” (Revelation 21:5). Something new will appear on Earth as it is in Heaven. To make a way for the new to come, the old must first pass away. Those with discernment will understand these coming events will need to take place to make a way to usher in what God has planned for our good. When these events begin to unfold, do not lose heart. Something new is coming.
This is a hopeful post, Garris. It is true in my own life, “the old has passed away; behold, the new has come!” May it be true of nations. Make way for the coming of the King.
Just as floods (Noah, Red Sea/Egyptian army), a collapsed wall (Jericho dwellers), a rocky hail storm (Philistines), a hurricane (Yolanda – 2016 Philippines), a fire (2023 Hawaii), and an earthquake (2023 Morocco) each ended “life as we know it” for those affected – we are warned (or promised) that our God will shake once again not only the Earth but also the heavens – removing what can be shaken.
What must happen in the Kingdom once the heavens are shaken? On earth, the corrupt leaders (cabal) who were deriving their power and wealth from evil heavenly hosts, must be quickly replaced with unshaken and unshakable Kingdom leaders who know that righteousness and justice are The Foundation of His Throne!
John is exactly right. We are now at a time where Gods children must arise from their place in Christ and bring heaven to earth. God will guide us as we keep our focus on Him and our ears open to His spirt.
Good word! Thank You Garris 😊
Hi Garris, and Readers, I write this from Jerusalem, where I am living. Yesterday was Yom Kippur, the national day of repentance and mourning in Israel. I was here in my home, when about three o’clock in the afternoon the great tree in front of my building suddenly ripped in two and fell to the ground. It was a beautiful tree, and appeared healthy and flourishing, but now it lay in ruins on the street. There was a rottenness in the trunk that held it up. I knew this had significance, because, for one thing, it had happened on Yom Kippur, and have been asking the Lord what it meant. Your message today seems to be oh so relevant – thank you.
