I enjoy an open expanse of sagebrush reaching to a distant horizon, pastures coated with fresh, untracked snow, and fields of grain waving in a soft breeze. Places of enclosure like an urban downtown pressed in on all sides with high-rise buildings and asphalt or a planned and overly similar residential subdivision steal joy from my soul.
It is the same in the Spirit. I need, and I would venture to say, we all need, to find a wide-open expression of the Spirit where freedom, not an enclosure, is our offering. Find these places and you will find revelation and refreshment.
