There are times in each of our lives when we find ourselves
yearning for a return to what was. This can happen when the present moment is
filled with uncertainty.  Unchecked those
strolls down memory lane can become a form of spiritual anesthesia. They can numb us to the gentle tug of the
Spirit inviting us to let go of the past in order to move forward into a new
and unrealized future. Enjoy the memories, but only entertain them as a form of
emotional recreation. Memories were never intended to become the destination of
your life. The Kingdom of God is always expanding. In that place of forward
expansion is where you will find the realization and fulfillment of your
destiny.
