The CEO of one of the largest social media platforms recently admitted his company had worked with the governing political party to filter opposing information during the last election. The information officer of a global economic forum admitted working with the largest search engine to suppress opposing viewpoints on matters of climate.  Most people are defining reality by the filtered information they receive which is only the tip of the information iceberg, not the full measure of information hidden beneath the surface of what is being controlled, filtered, and visible. 

When attempts to find the truth of a matter are being controlled and manipulated, we have another more reliable source that will never fail us no matter how widespread the corruption of control appears. That source is God’s word and the Spirit. 

The most important lessons a follower of Jesus can learn are how to study God’s word for themselves and know how to discern the voice of the Spirit.  If all forms of inquiry continue to be controlled and manipulated, we will not be left without hope. The Lord will be faithful to lead us into all truth under the direction of the Spirit. The Spirit has always been the most honest and faithful search engine.
