In the Kentucky Derby, a horse called Rich Strike, a late entry, won the race in a come from behind victory that stunned onlookers. The announcer was so focused on the two lead horses he could not see what was about to take place.  To his shock and the amazement of all present, against all odds, Rich Strike came from behind to win the crown.
