As I considered what was about to take place in the world, I saw the image of someone pulling back the cover on what had been concealed. As they pulled back the cover, what was revealed was not just something hidden on the surface. It revealed a deep stairway...
I’ve noticed a trend developing in the Church, particularly in the Western Church. It’s a shying away, even an ignoring of the Old Testament. This avoidance is occurring because some teachers have taught us to believe that the Old Testament is somehow in conflict with...
As I was reading through Luke chapter 2, I saw a concerning image. It was of a person who realized, by the choices they made, to remove themselves from the place where God told them a promise would be fulfilled. In their moment of realization, panic set in. They began...
Isaiah the prophet wrote about our ability to think we know better than God when it comes to discerning truth. He wrote “How foolish can you be? He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you, the clay! Should the created thing say of the one who made it, “He...
I worked as a lifeguard during my summer breaks during college. When you have a bunch of kids in the water all screaming, thrashing, and splashing at the same time, you must look through all the noise and activity if you are going to see that one kid in trouble and in...
We need to seriously pray for the American Southwest. A disaster of immense proportion and far-reaching implications is developing that will create suffering and the potential for social unrest if a change does not come, and soon. I’ve been following what is...
To strike a larger target, hell must first come after the individuals who make up that larger target. The bigger picture of any widespread spiritual conflict is a huge mosaic made up of individuals. The individuals that make up that mosaic are the real targets of...
My dad was a decent blackjack player. Sometimes, at the end of a vacation, we were able to extend our time away because dad paid a visit to a casino when we were near Lake Tahoe or somewhere in Nevada. Mom and my brother and I would wait in our family pickup truck...
A series of strategic distractions are being offered. The creators of these distractions hope that each distraction will move us farther away from discovering the reality of what is transpiring in our nation. These distractions are a masking effort with a goal to draw...
Not all assignments from the Lord are considered normal. Isaiah, for example, got this prophetic assignment from the Lord, “Take off the burlap you have been wearing and remove your sandals. Isaiah did as he was told and walked around naked and barefoot” (Isaiah...
We have entered a moment in history where a great opportunity has been presented to the Church – an opportunity to display wise and sane decision-making. This display must first take place within our ranks before we will see a righteous change take place in our...
Sometimes we think increased levels of volume or a certain way of acting is evidence of what is called “the anointing.” A true anointing is not of human origin or creation. It is not stagecraft. It is something the Spirit deposits in a life from the realm of eternity....
There are times when the term “overwhelming evidence” is used to overwhelm reason and attempt to stall a deeper and more integrous investigation of fact. People become overwhelmed when they are buried beneath what appears to be an insurmountable mass of evidence...
While many look to the heavens for signs of what is to come in the future, and rightly so, we can overlook the fact that we are walking among some of those developing signs at this time. Not all signs are about the end of time. Some are preparatory. They are...
I love the wide-open space of sagebrush-dotted prairies. These places are removed far from the noise of civilization. There is a hush in that kind of place that soothes my soul. While watching an advertisement for a Tesla, I tried to imagine someone wanting to...
