Politicized, protected, unchallenged evil has become more visible in our western culture. A lack of accountability gives the perpetrators license to continue hurting others because they know their actions will go unpunished. Just the opposite, they have often been rewarded to stay in lock-step obedience to their masters.
When evil is not restrained and those who create pain and sorrow and even support its existence are not called to account, fear and despair increases. History has proven nothing can work or prosper under these conditions no matter how right the solution may sound to compromised ears.
Solomon, who was considered the wisest of men, had something to say about this issue. He wrote, “I have thought deeply about all that goes on here under the sun, where people have the power to hurt each other. When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong” (Ecclesiastes 8: 9, 11).
However, Solomon comes to a conclusion: “I know that those who fear God will be better off. The wicked will not prosper, for they do not fear God” (vs. 12, 13).
This boils down to one issue, who do we fear? The Lord? The deep state, the politicians, the media, the compromised Christians? Only a reverent awe and respect for God and His truth will lead us back to a place of stability and safety.
Amen in Jesus name – His glorious wisdom will never pass away! Our focus is to be on the face of Jesus where the light of the knowledge of the glory of God is found! There we are honoring the finished cross and the heart of almighty God Who is eternal and is Love ! The treasures and mysteries of that love are found in the essence of the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us! To God be all
