When the Spirit brings about significant change in a nation those who resist the change will say your obedience to God is rebellion and the established truth of Scripture is a lie. The puppets used by the enemy to control people and the institutions of society will hold tight to their power as the transformation becomes evident. The deeper the Spirit takes us into the process of change and realignment the more desperate the puppets who are being controlled by religious and political spirits will become. Their desperation will tighten as they realize their grip is being weakened by the spirit of truth.

What God has prophesied will take place with unusual rapidity for the time is short. Do not be shaken off the course of love when these things occur. It will be impossible to keep up with the change. It will become a blur to our natural mind. None of us will understand all that is happening. Intimacy with God will be the surest of preparations for such a time. It will be our only stable place.

Beware of those who declare they know all that is unfolding. The works of God always contain mystery and mystery requires humility to admit we do not know every detail of the unfolding change. At our best, we only see and prophesy in part. Stay faithful to the parts you understand and the parts you need to understand will be made known to you in due time.

During a time of significant change in Israel and Judah, the Lord said to Jeremiah, “In the days to come you will understand all this” (Jeremiah 30:24). That level of understanding is not something we can produce. A time of change and transformation requires patience as the plan of God unfolds. He will be faithful to perform all He has promised.
