A SHIFT IN PROPHETIC ASSIGNMENTS

The Lord is shifting the prophetic assignment of some of His prophets. They will become interpreters of current events. The Spirit-inspired prophetic interpretations offered by these prophets will deliver a deeper understanding of what is taking place in our world. Their prophecies will be released at a depth of revelation not possible with the shallow and purposefully biased presentations of the “news” we are currently being told to digest as fact.

These biased news reports have become distractions diverting our attention away from the truth that exists behind developing global scenarios. When these newly assigned prophets deliver their message, those who have ears to hear will become informed and equipped able to pray prayers of intervention that will turn developing world events away from predictable and dreadful conclusions.

The disparity between spiritual insight and an earthly interpretation of current events continues to widen. It has reached the point where the two sides appear to be observing alternate realities.

For many, I think there is a strange peace in finally understanding what Paul meant when he said “we do not battle against flesh and blood”.

    Pray continuously.

When Jesus asked “Who do {men | you} say that I am?” he was exposing a fundamental truth of relationships and human behavior. IF I think that HE is {Elijah | one of the prophets | someone else} I will engage him and treat him much differently than if I think that he is God made Flesh.

Similarly, when 5-Fold ministers have mistaken ideas about Who He Is, Who We Are, and What Message We are Called to Live and to Proclaim – the conflict and confusion could not be greater.

May we each engage our weapons to first tear down ideas and speculations that exalt themselves against truly knowing God.

On the road to Emmaeus, disciples who had heard all of Jesus’ teaching, including his proclamation of an impending crucifixion and resurrection, still had NO understanding of who He was. This was revealed by their dejected moaning “We had hoped that he would be the one…..”

Before he could explain the meaning of scriptures that they already knew, He first had to “open their minds to understand…..” later, He also opened their eyes.

May we experience the same miracle of new hearing, new seeing, and new understanding.
