Throughout
history, when there existed in the people of God an expectancy that something supernatural
could take place at any moment manifestations of God’s presence appeared in the
form of signs, wonders and miracles. The
thief of this expectancy has been our yielding to the lie of an unchanging
status quo and calling it reality.

There
is a solution for this dilemma.  The
solution is to look.  This act of looking
sees past the veil that separates the status quo of time and space and sees the
plans of heaven.  The substance of that heavenly
insight is what we bring back into our current circumstance and begin living a
life of expectancy.  When this
transaction takes place our faith will reposition our lives and attitudes to experience
on earth what was first seen in heaven. This is the power of expectancy.
