Every few months, as I hike the trails above our home, I need to transition between forest lands on a section of paved road. It had been a few months since I hiked that stretch of roadway. On a previous hike, I noticed several discarded bottles of Fireball whiskey...
The title of this post is from an old children’s hymn. Its title is appealing to some who have reduced Jesus to a warm and fuzzy cuddle doll, not the full spectrum of His life. They do not allow their theology of Jesus to hint at a demonstration of His power and...
The Lord is reordering His Church. He is examining our hearts to see if we are truly following Him or a muddled and confused version of Him and His Kingdom. After the crowd saw Jesus feed the five thousand, something happened. "When the people saw him do this...
If you look deeper than the news headlines we are being fed you will begin to see the spiritual forces behind the decisions and policies that are negatively affecting people’s lives. That deeper discovery is where the efforts of our spiritual activity should be...
In this time of despair turn your eyes to Heaven. Within the great cloud of witnesses who live forever in the presence of Jesus, there is a special group - those who knew you in this life. Along with the others in the heavenly host, they are cheering you on through...

Throughout history, the Lord has raised voices in critical seasons to speak the truth in love to nations that have rejected His truth. That rejection opens the door to sorrows that can only be avoided by repentance. To raise the subject of a coming judgment is foreign...
Have you ever been accused of something by a judge and jury of your peers who accepted as absolute truth the accusations made against you without allowing you to state your case? These situations are made worse when such evidence is given traction by the repetition of...
Within the spheres of social influence are individuals who are part of unrighteous dynasties whose purpose is to steer the Church and the wider society toward ungodly goals. These dynasties motivated by evil should be a matter of prayer for the Church if the goal of...
Peer-reviewed data in any field is not the offering of an established fact. A pool of peers with a similar base of data and shared experiences is not always a guarantee they will offer the complete truth on a subject, especially when the members of that peer group...
