Lord of the Fountain of Life, display your power, and we will be strong. Your miracles have made us who we are. Do It Again! Parade from your temple your mighty power (see Psalm 68:26-29).

Like King David, we can ask God to do again in us, in our time, what He did in the past. The words, “remember” and “testimony” are basically synonymous, meaning, “do it again,” “do time again.” 

A Prayer (see Psalm 68):

Father, when we remember these testimonies of your faithfulness and greatness, you are moved to do again in us, in our time, what you did in the past concerning your enemies. Rise up with awesome power, and all your enemies will scatter in fear. They vanish with one look at you. You save us over and over. It’s you who rescues us from the ways of death many times. 

You are moved to do again in us, in our time, what you did in the past concerning those who love you. Daily, you carry our burdens. You are Father to the fatherless. You are a Champion Friend to the widow. You give a family to the lonely. You lead the prisoner into prosperity until they each sing for joy. You send reviving rain upon the weary land—showers of blessing to refresh it. In your kindness, you provide the poor with abundance. 

May those of us who love you be carried away with gladness. You are the source of our worship—you are the Fountain of Life. You alone have all strength and power! We proclaim your majesty. We give our highest praise and make music in honor of you. We are consumed with awe and trembling before your glory-presence!
